In Columbus, Ohio, 1990, S&G was founded in a small space and began operating as a manufacturer of high quality stainless steel restaurant equipment. From day one, S&G dedicated itself to craftsmanship, service and a unique ability to deliver the finest metal fabrication available. As word of S&G’s skill and precision grew, so did the company. Sales and production in those first years were marked by continuous increases until additional space forced the company to make several additions to the facility over time.
But in only five years, S&G outgrew its original facility. The company knew that it was time for an expansion so they could continue to serve clients in the manner they had come to expect, as well as so the S&G difference could be experienced by new clients. In 1995, the company built a new state-of-the-art factory in Hilliard, Ohio and has since expanded that building several times to handle the additional custom equipment and personnel required to meet our customers’ diversified needs.
In 1997 the company expanded its product line to include high quality custom wood fabricated items.
In 2001, the company again expanded its product line to include sales of restaurant equipment and smallwares from both our main office in Hilliard, Ohio and a second office in Chicago, Illinois.
As a result of S&G’s growth, planning and investment in state-of-the-art equipment for metal fabrication, wood fabrication and smallwares fulfillment, we are now proud to call ourselves one of the industry’s most comprehensive providers. We stand out by offering the restaurant, healthcare and retail industries One Source for everything they need to quickly and skillfully go from design through installation.
However, this modern equipment is useless without the skills, dedication, and experience of our S&G professionals, who truly care about what we provide, and take great pride in the results.
